When was the last harmonic convergence?

1987
The 9 hell cycles of 52 years each ended precisely on August 16–17, 1987. Shearer introduced the dates and the prophecy to Arguelles in 1970, and he eventually co-opted them and created the name Harmonic Convergence as the public title of the event.

When was the last time all 9 planets were aligned?

The last time it happened was the year 949, according to Science Focus. The next time will be May 6, 2492. That date will change if astronomers ever identify another planet in our solar system and have to add that to alignment possibilities.

What happens when the planets are aligned?

It is not going to happen. When astronomers use words like “planetary alignment”, they don’t mean a literal lining up. They just mean that some of the planets are in the same general region of the sky.

What is it called when all planets align?

Conjunction: Planetary Alignment A planetary alignment is the common term for the planets being lined up at one time. A combination of at least two bodies lined up in the same area of the sky, as seen from earth, is a conjunction.

How often do the worlds align?

So, on average, the three inner planets line up every 39.6 years. The chance that Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will all be within this arc as well on any given pass is 1 in 100 raised to the 5th power, so on average the eight planets line up every 396 billion years.

How often do all nine planets align?

About every 100 years or so, six or more planets “line up” and appear together within a small area of the sky.

How often do the planets align?

When all planets come in a straight line in 2021?

Therefore, every 19.85 years they are aligned in a straight line with Earth, resulting in great conjunction. Likewise, other planets also produce periodic conjunction as they orbit Sun. For example, next year, on July 13, 2021, a conjunction of Venus and Mars will take place.

Do all planets align ever?

Because of the orientation and tilt of their orbits, the eight major planets of the Solar System can never come into perfect alignment. The last time they appeared even in the same part of the sky was over 1,000 years ago, in the year AD 949, and they won’t manage it again until 6 May 2492.
