After you defeat Gardenia, you will be awarded with a Forest Badge, which will allow you to use HM01 (Cut) outside of battle. She will also give you TM86 – Grass Knot, which inflicts damage based on the opponent’s weight.
How do you beat the gardenia gym?
The battle can be pretty straightforward. We recommend building up your Attack Stat by using Power-Up Punch against Gardenia’s Cherubi and Turtwig before using Flame Wheel against Roserade. This approach is the most efficient way of dealing the most damage against her entire team.
